Andrew "Eyes" Eisenstein was a minor crook operating out of Astro City in the late 1990's. He earned his nickname due to his constant awareness of his surroundings, which gained him a steady career as a lookout on criminal jobs.
During one of these jobs, he saw Jack-In-The-Box changing into his civilian clothes, and thus managed to identify him as Zachary Johnson. He considered attempting to cash in on this knowledge by selling Johnson's identity to the Deacon, but feared that Jack might hunt him down or that the Deacon might decide to kill him rather than pay.
Eisenstein ultimately ended up leaving Astro City altogether, relocating to Fairbanks, Alaska.
