The Living Nightmare was created years ago by a psychologist who tried to eliminate fear. Instead, all he did was externalize it -- creating a violent, destructive creature that lashes out at anything that threatens it.

History[]
The Living Nightmare is a living embodiment of fear and violence that was created by a psychologist who wished to eliminate these negative emotions from society. The Living Nightmare was manifested and began to attack people, always drawn to those under the most stress. During one point, a Marine pilot was strong enough to overwhelm the Nightmare with his courage and control it. During this time the Living Nightmare became a hero and worked in the Honor Guard. However, he has since returned to his destructive ways and remains a powerful threat.
